That was one of the first things I replaced, even before seeing it. Turns out to be wise because the old belt came apart in my hands. ( with little twisting and pulling ) T
The valve cover is of now and I noticed excessive play on all the intake side rockers, must be the old gas you mentioned. I'm taking the head off tomorrow to make sure, also to see what else need replacing. What do you think?
