Where in Canada do you live? I've got a pair of 530i's sitting at my parents place and one of them has a fairly solid front end. One of them also has a pair of "sport" mirrors (in the corner of the window) I believe this is what you're looking for. I live in Edmonton. Remember the corner-of-the-window style mirrors requires different glass in the door and a window guide inside the door (I did this conversion on my '77 530i, and its great).
