Well, I can't remember what Stage I includes. Springs & shocks I am guessing. I have the full Stage 4 set up, and have been very pleased with it. I would strongly recommend that you consider replacing your front upper strut mounts, as well as the rear upper mounts unless your car is below 50k miles total. The Dinan-Bilstein shocks are very firm compared to the OEM ones, and if those front strut bearings are tired, you will get clunking over bumps. As for the rears, I replaced mine since they were cheap & would be a pain to have to re-do later if they went bad. On my car I am concerned that the fimness of the front struts may be wearing out my mounts in short order. I think the stiffness of the Dinan strut may be a little too much for the stock part. I am planning to get(you may want to consider) the K-Mac adjustable front bearings. They are poly instead of rubber, and they have the added benefit of being adjustable for camber. There is an article about them in this month's Roundel I think. I currently have the Dinan camber plates, which have worked great, but they are not adjustable. They are -1.5 deg., which sounds like a lot for the street, but I have seen no inside edge tire wear after over 10k miles. So get the K-Mac's & enjoy. By the way, you are going to want some bigger bars.
Hey all...
: I have an immaculate 1979 528i, which I'm taking into

: I've cjecked the ball joints, and they seem fine. Same

: Can anyone think of things I should watch out for?
