In reference to the message of the same title, posted below....
I'm also faced with a rodent problem on the 528e.
Rats have eaten on some of the wiring inside the engine compartment.
Particularly on the airflow, and injection, etc.
Is it a simple matter of splicing the wires that have
been cut? Should I be concerned with impedance and voltage drops?
