Just wondering if anyone is interested in a modification that I made to the driver door lock on my 81 528i. It is is fairly simple and allows the door to be locked and shut, just like all the other doors. I don't have to lock the door with the key. It retains the stock operation of the central locking system. The mod was done many years ago and I don't remember exact details, but I do remeber it required using a hacksaw blade to cut of a tab on the mechanism. If anyone is interested I can check it out and supply greater detail.
