: : This is my second posting, I just ordered some windshild and rear window lockstripping to replace the extremely faded stripping that I currently have. Now that I have this, I am wondering what is the best way to remove the stripping and then replace it. Thank you in advance.
: Steve,
: The old strip is easy to remove, just pull it out. Getting the new stuff back in is not as easy, but if you buy the special tool to do it makes life a whole lot easier. You can get the tool from Bav. Auto for about $15.

I agree with Charlie, I replaced both front and back with new rubber and locksrips. The tool is a must! But it is still a tough job. Get a can of Silicone lubricant, it will help for the tight areas.
Good luck,
