As I recall, talking with the fellow who I bought my 77 from, the reactors are two separate 3 into one using two downpipes, and he used the two separate stock manifolds from M30 engines that used the two down pipes. The Reactors being as big as they are, they drop down quite a bit more than the ...

To simplify that mess, the question is, can I remove the thermal reactors, and bolt on a set of manis from an E28 533i or 535i? Will they mate to my stock downpipes?

I've got a 77 630csi, that is running an 81 M30B32, with the stock manifold for that engine. I have perfect original exhaust for the 77, except for the reactors. I want to dump the 81 setup, and convery back to the 77 setup, including downpipes.

I "should" be able to use basically any manifolds ...
