I see that they changed in 1976 to accommodate the later calipers and vented rotors, but I was curious as to how interchangeable components are between the early/late model struts. Just send them out to get cleaned and then find out if any/all need to be replaced? I was surprised to see how expensive they are - I haven't checked...
