thanks, that did help. I am shopping around for a good 80 gallon 220v air compressor, I need it for my truck's suspension work too... The new bearings from BMW (SKF) are sealed, there is a plastic seal covering the ball-bearings, did your bearing come out sealed or open? I think that would make a ...

I just had that issue with Camry, check valve (as Bizz said) fixed that.. but if you want to eliminate oil in the intake all together a catch can is always great to remove most blow-by .. I have them on all cars and intake manifold is never oily anymore..

Rear wheel bearing set from Pelican/BMW.. missing parts?

I ordered part number (33-41-1-107-512-BOE) from Pelican, I was under the impression that it's a complete kit with seals (if any), but only inner/outer bearings and securing plates.. According to real OEM:

Yes thanks, Chris who owned it did tell me that the tank might be US, which now you confirmed.. I had doubts for a second because John (previous owner) several years ago on mye28 was looking/buying a euro tank and thought it made it into the car, but now we know for sure... So to return to Euro spec ...

Ok thanks, but is your euro fuel pick-up bolted down or locked in with a twist? Maybe I should take it apart to see what I'm dealing with.. I'll post a pic to clearify things..

Ordering a new fuel tank..

I'm about to order a new original tank from Schmiedmann, but I'm a little confused on the fuel pick-up system. I thought Euro cars only have a pick-up and no pump inside the tank, but my car has electrical connections meaning pump inside and it's bolted down. Would the 'slotted' opening of the Euro ...

Re: tire/wheel questions

You have a choice of 1, good ol BF Goodrich Radial T/As

it's strange that I might purchase the same exact tires I had in high school 25 years ago on my old ...

The only thing I can think of is the fuel lines and sending unit, going form carb to Injection requires more line pressure ... unless I'm wrong, never had a carb E12..

yes 225/55-15 would be the correct size for 225mm section. I just picked up a set off an E36 with the mesh factory wheels. I don't believe the E36 wheels would work on the E12 for offset (tire will rub on frame)... They will be mounted on current 15x7 +20 BBS shoes.. That might preset an issue with ...

E12s are front brake biased but if you are locking on a "light braking", check: hard lines going back if anything is pinched, soft lines can also internally collapse and restrict flow, check fluid for contamination could cause seals to swell and quick lock up, but usually with contamination from ...

seams like you are experiencing the same issue.. nothing to do with oil burning more like pungent gas smell, slightly raw.. windows are up it's fine on the road. I have a smoke machine to pump the exhaust system and hopefully I see leak by the manifolds... but the engine is on the rich side, which I ...
