Re: Blaupunkt Radio Recommendation

Dale,
I have a few pictures of my original 78 530 Blaupunkt radio I can email you. I haven't posted pictures here in a long time and forgot how to do it. I think I used photo bucket in the past.
I have your email from another thread. Sending pics in a few minutes.

Part numbers 51161848819 and 51161849648 Although its NLA, I suppose I could just try to find an e24 mirror up to 8/1979. Of course this is assuming I could separate the glass from the mirror without damaging it. Mi...

77, 78 side mirror glass

Hey guys, My e12 drivers side view mirror glass is cracked. Does anyone know if the e24 or e23 glass with the same looking mirror fits? IIRC, the part of the front frame rail that clamps the US bumper shock absorber was left alone, but I cut off (trimmed) the tab with a self threading nut on the euro bumper bracket.

My US spec 78 has no pump inside the tank.
It has wires on top of the pick up for the fuel gauge.

Thanks guys.
Will try to lube the speedo cable. As long as it's not adding additional miles, I am going to leave it alone for now. "But officer....."
