For some reason my pump doesn't have item 22 i only have in the diagram items 20, 21,23,24. Has anyone had experience in changing out thi...

Re: Motronic 1.3 conversion

Thanks everyone, I know this has been done before but it's enjoyable. Joe you mentioned the e21 intake runners which sounds like you have, I'm guessing they are longer which moves the torque curve down. Have you noticed any tradeoff on the top end? I was also looking at the Megasquirt, but as I hav...

Re: Motronic 1.3 conversion

That is impressive "Lock".. I had asked the question in this forum to add Motronic 1.3 to 2.8l engine, you might have seen the post. Nice work in upgrading your engine..another simple upgrade would be to install E21 intake runners, what a difference more more response on the lower rpms.. I am in the...

Re: Help with Radiator / Water Pump

Cory, this is your problem.. "The bleed screw is corroded to the point where I could not bleed the system when I refilled after replacing the aux fan temp switch, but I did run the car and continue to top off the coolant until it stopped taking more coolant." if your bleeder screw is corrected than ...

Motronic 1.3 conversion for M30B28

has anyone install M30B35 wire harness with Motronic 1.3 with 179 ECU on M30B28 engine ?
Does anyone know if the 179 Ecu is compatible? or it this ECU specifically for 3.5 engine with high horsepower?
or would a megasquirt work best with M30B28 engine...
any insight is appreciated.

End Caps for Wiper Arms

I wasn't able to find the end cap. As the cap has a pin that runs through it. I ended up purchasing new wiper arms for both sides(L&R). I found the right side at Schmiedmann.com for 36.00 as the part # changed to 61 61 1 370 020. I had purchased the left side at ECS tuning part #61611370025 for 35.2...

well i removed both caps on the speedo box and the upper one has a small button to press in, with a small Allen wrench or screw drive. But when i push it in nothing clicks or resets, it's pretty much a weak spring. Then i went to the second cap and there is a blank hole nothing to push in. So i thin...
