Hi Karl, So, Ihad my rust repaired a few weeks ago. The workshop decided to cut and replace only the wheel arch, as it was a mess to replace the whole panel, and it wasn´t necessary either. Hi Karl

My 520 has a heavily rusted rear wheel arch, so I bought an e28 rear quarter panel for less than 100 dollars (couldn´t find one specific for e12). Placing the new one above the wheel arch, seems to be almost identical.
Will do the repair in a couple of weeks, will let you guys know.
