Pertronix is ridiculously easy. Pull out points, install magnet ring, pull points, install pertronix, adjust gap with plastic feeler gauge they provide. Oh, and eliminate the resistors, thrown them away. Welcome to Trantor. I am interested in a 4.5 diff if you are nearby. I am in Oakland CA. Looking...

Ditto. All of the wear items if you are up to it. Plus the tops of the struts with the bearing in them. I'd also replace the power steering hoses. And, if you feel adventurous pull the power steering gearbox and replace the input and output shaft seals. Clean the entire subframe thoroughly, no wire ...

Fuel hoses for the vapor recovery system
Well, it's getting close to completion. There's just so much I can do to get it ready for the referee. Wiring is complete, got a 179 ECU that makes it run so much better than the 150 unit. Changed the sending unit seal on the gas tank. I need to have the custom pipes brazed to the muffler, I cannot ...

I'd make sure the cable is well lubricated. Did you put bigger wheels on the car? The only way the speedo can read higher than actual input revolutions is if it is roached. There's a spinning magnet that lifts the needle. This stuff is getting to be almost 40 years old. Time for a few new parts or a...

And get rid of the alarm. Reconnect spliced wires. Disconnect power taps Disconnect ground taps. Remove the siren and its leads. Ignore most sensors and LED warning lights on doors. Take out as much leftover butchered stereo wiring as you can find. Same for any alarm wires. Tiny 2-lead wires. It's a...

Run a known hot wire to the coil and disconnect everything else. My 10 foot alligator clip jumper is the most useful troubleshooting tool I own. Do you smell gas in the exhaust? If you put a tiny shot of ether in the intake, does it make any attempt to start? Sometimes bypassing stuff can help ident...

Regardless, you are taking a lowered compression M90 with forced induction which artificially takes it above NA stock compression when driven hard. Great, I get it, but that isn't good enough in your world. There are turbo-and waste gate swaps that do the same thing. I pointed out that additional fu...

I cant recall how mine are held in, I didn't plan to take the gauges out to respond, but since they are bonded to the underside of the dash cover, take look to see if they could be re-bonded? I've had great success with JB Weld epoxy over the years. Just be sure what you are trying to re-attach them...
