I'm glad yours are threaded, if they weren't i would use 1/8" or 1/4" thick backing and front plates instead of washers.

yes, Axxis seams to be a great brand at a cheap price, compared to Pagid which could cost you atleast $200 more. I think Pagid would be strickly track.

i've heard that if you go for no dust you'll be wearing the rotor faster than it should. so your choice is no dust/buy rotors sooner or dust/rotors last longer. i suggest that whatever the OEM spec is, to buy that type; semi-metallic, non-metallic and so on. More expensive brands don't necessarily ...

The outside boot is there to keep dirt out. Dirt will affect the seal and piston. it will be a problem in time.

10+ years is pretty good lifespan for a damper.

yep, and the shock mounts will not last 10 yrs either.
I think the Sachs HD's are just as good as the Bili's.
At a better price. Bili sports if you want to lower it a little.( with springs)
When you replace the shocks, make sure you put the washers ...

Chances are when you were wiring up your sound system you shorted something. the hardest thing to find is a short in a wire. Because it may be at the point where you cut the wire or it may be at another point on the wire ...
