Hi All,

I am wondering if any of you have heard of a way to modify the steering to reduce lock to lock? My track car is almost perfect now, but steering on the race track is a lot like driving a bus, even compared to an e30.

I would obviously prefer a bolt in solution if possible.

What headers are you using as well? In my cars' setup, when they added the chip and cam, they also added headers, larger injectors and a higher output fuel pressure regulator. I was also running 93 octane for a while, and I don't know if it was the octane or the corn, but the engine ...

I don't know where it was from, but it has an M30 in it. Conforti chip, some other goodies. I listed it all on the newbie forum. Only thing I've done so far is some cosmetics, fluids, brake pads and tires.

I have a 79 528i track car- formally the "big dog" and before that "das panzer". There are no torsion springs mounted on the hood, and it has tried to take my fingers off a couple of times. These are not the upper ones mounted ...
