I have isolated a small amount of play in the steering where the center tie rod meets the Pitman arm

I assume that it's more likely that the center tie ...

E34 M30B35 into E12
Hi all,
My searching has proven fruitless so I'll ask here - I have found a low mileage E34 535i at a good price, I'm considering buying it and mating the M30 to the existing 5 speed drivetrain in my E12.
I have read that the engine mount bolt holes won't line up - is this correct? If so what's ...

The 5-speed was in a donor E12 I bought, it's an OD box. I've got it mated to a 3.07 LSD and it's a dream.
You're welcome to the 4-speed, got any freight contacts? Closest commercial depot to me is Mitchell ACT 2911. Also got other bits I can chuck in, PM me if you like. I'm moving house and want ...

Speedometer not working
Hi all,
It has been a while but the old girl is still ticking along. I recently diagnosed a snapped speedo cable (it was indeed snapped) and ordered a brand new one from BMW.
I have disconnected the short section between the cluster and main cable, driving with the dash vent removed i can see ...

I have 16x8 ET0 and i'm running 205/45's. I rolled all guards, the fronts are only really necessary if you're running 2-3"+ lower than stock (as wkohler said, full lock will get you).
The rolling diameter is reduced however, so the speedo is out. I'm not sure what i'll go for next time - possibly ...
