You can order online directly from BMW of South Atlanta.
parts.bmwpartsofsouthatlanta.com
Also check out(comes from Europe):
https://www.wallothnesch.com
If it's a euro car, then you cannot order euro parts through a US dealer, you need to order through a Canadian dealer.

Once I figured out that when it spins freely it's locked and when it doesn't spin freely it's unlocked and you just give it a hard turn. So I guess I'll keep it and just have a second set of keys, Or swap all the locks...

OEM Locking Gas Cap
I have a locking gas cap for my car but it's broken. I have a spare one that I want to swap the tumbler with to use with my original key. Has anyone tried to swap them before?

Here's what my euros look like from the back. It has a screw which you can see here that holds it together. I don't see a spot for yours to accept a screw. I'll take it apart later and check for part numbers. http://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/gg519/JodyStevens/3B09CC79-674C-4752-8672-7764D4F1221F_...

I opened my old steering box to see about rebuilding it. A lot of parts were not available anymore and it is quite complex inside. The needle roller bearings are a bitch to deal with. http://i1241.photobucket.com/albums/gg519/JodyStevens/null_zps23d9014b.jpg I went ahead and bought a low mileage ste...
