Just a guess. Have you checked the power steering pump switch?

Again, just a guess. Hope my input helps.

Edit: Come to think of it, it could be that the power steering fluid. Check for that first. I remember having similar problems where the reservoir was low on fluid.

I have finally done a top overhaul, and I have changed the brake servo unit, I think (that was what my mechanic called it).

Now when I press the brake pedal or brake hard. The engine just turns off (dies). I suspect that it is the brake servo but can anyone else advice?

I don't think there's any list, just search here and Realoem. Front and rear windshields and window channels are what would come to mind. The door seals seem to hold up quite well. Oh, sunroof too ...
