Very interesting, there are perhaps several transmitters that can be used?
My tank is 255 mm deep so it must fit to that depth.

Fuel sender

Hello!
Does anybody know the length of the fuel sender 16121153507?
It´s the one with the suction and return in the same tube, used in e12/e28 and e24. I´m asking because I will try to use it in my old e9 fuel tank which is not prepared for fuel injection. The tank is 255 mm deep and the sender must ...

I bought it via a French buy/sell site. It was a private seller and this was the only bearing available.
But I was in connection with a guy in Belgium that also might help you. He told me he had a few of this particular bearings in his shop. Contact information: derreveaux_maxim@hotmail.com

The OEM ...

It could be an alternative. I have to do some calculations to see if it will fit in the end cover.Just got a hit on a French website where they will be selling an original one. Maybe I have a lucky day.

Getrag 265/6 ball bearing

Hi!

I have started to replace the input shaft main bearing in my 5 speed Getrag 265/6. But to my great surprise it´s no longer available. Not from BMW or other sources as far as I can see. It´s a very special ,flanged, ball bearing.
BMW OEM 23121209323 or FAG 540691. Is there anyone who know of any ...

After a long period with troubleshooting I decided to order a new (used) distributor. It arrived a couple of days. It was very dirty and, yes, it looked veery used. I installed it and turned the key. Engine started and revved to about 2200 rpm, but now the timing showed 22 degrees BTDC and no ...

It had restrictions but now its for public view,I think!

I checked out my last theory today, but it didn´t work of course. The valves hits the top of the pistons when one change camshaft angle 20 degrees, so now its back to start again

The rotor (photo)is spot on the the mark on distributor ...

Problems are not solved, but I am back on the timing track again. After several checks of TDC and camshaft position and a distributor overhaul everything seems to be after the book! But when engine is idling at 900 rpm the timing shows about 15-20 degrees AFTER TDC (ref. hot exhaust manifold and ...

Fuel injectors installed after testing and cleaning. No difference, still hot exhaust pipes. I have checked all TDC and camshaft alignments and they are also spot on. To avoid interference from Auxhiliary Air Valve all connections are blinded with tape. Distributor position with vacuum cone almost ...

Yes it´s timing marks on the flywheel, but they are hard to locate. It´s an automatic and the flywheel is thinner than the one with manual box. Looking forward to collect the fuel injectors when they are tested. Hopefully they are the source to my problems. If not I´m completely out of ideas to ...

I completely agree with you Mike, and I think the solution to my problem consists of several factors. Ignition is obviously completely wrong since it has been impossible to adjust it precisely because of varying speed and heat. On the other hand, I ask myself how this heat is developed, and I can't ...
