Getrag 265/6 ball bearing
Hi!
I have started to replace the input shaft main bearing in my 5 speed Getrag 265/6. But to my great surprise it´s no longer available. Not from BMW or other sources as far as I can see. It´s a very special ,flanged, ball bearing.
BMW OEM 23121209323 or FAG 540691. Is there anyone who know of any ...

Problems are not solved, but I am back on the timing track again. After several checks of TDC and camshaft position and a distributor overhaul everything seems to be after the book! But when engine is idling at 900 rpm the timing shows about 15-20 degrees AFTER TDC (ref. hot exhaust manifold and ...

Fuel injectors installed after testing and cleaning. No difference, still hot exhaust pipes. I have checked all TDC and camshaft alignments and they are also spot on. To avoid interference from Auxhiliary Air Valve all connections are blinded with tape. Distributor position with vacuum cone almost ...

I completely agree with you Mike, and I think the solution to my problem consists of several factors. Ignition is obviously completely wrong since it has been impossible to adjust it precisely because of varying speed and heat. On the other hand, I ask myself how this heat is developed, and I can't ...
