I checked with my guy at BMW of Sterling and he says they are in fact NLA even though RealOEM says yes. It could be a situation where the supplier produces in batches but there's no future availability date. He also checked other dealer inventory and came up goose eggs. He did provide an aftermarket...

Calm down CBRadio, I was just pointing out the value of OEM support. I would have suggested an alternative if I had one but this is likely the only choice. Mike W provided an accurate explanation to the price level for this part. If it's any consolation, many BMW OEM parts are dirt cheap compared to...

I'll add that a BMW retailer can be a valuable resource. Whenever possible I buy parts from a very knowledgable parts manager at BMW of Sterling that gives CCA members an extremely reasonable discount. BMW OEM parts are the best fit and quality possible and come with a 12 month warranty even if you ...

Parking and turn signal functions with euro bumbers

Hello All, Just ordered euro bumper parts for my 79 528i. I understand that in a true euro car the headlights contain the parking or running lights and that the lights in the bumper are just turn signals. I can't bear to disturb the original paint on the car and will keep the US side markers for now...

This seller on eBay regularly lists hard to find NOS items. He currently shows a set of new front calipers for $699!!

I bought a set of NOS Stahl headers from him recently and was very pleased with the transaction.

I got the impression he's a one man shop so is a little slow to respond but once engaged is very helpful. Way out on the cape in Massachusetts. He's not inexpensive but is a good resource. He also found the material that covers the spare tire lid in the trunk.

Hey CabbageFumes - are you able to share your source? I'm about to start collecting the parts for a euro bumper conversion on my e12.

Glad to hear you found the issue. To your original question about injectors - I used this company for the injectors on my 225k e46. Made a difference in drivability and fuel economy went up 2 mpg. Fast turnaround, 17 bucks an injector, they provide before and after flow rates: http://www.mrinjector....

Thanks Jeff - I found the old post and they're good tips. I'll dye mine for now, the rest of the headliner is too nice to disturb.

e28 ac condenser conversion

I'm refurbishing my entire AC system including an R134 conversion. Anyone have experience with fitting the larger e28 condenser for extra cooling capacity? Or aftermarket?
