Well I have the arm completely off the car, hub is removed as well as everything else. It's basically the arm with the bearings in it. I'll have a go at it if I can find replacement bearings for them. Any ideas? I'm not doing it because they are broken or anything, but I have the car apart and am ha...

Hahaha

The fronts are much easier, you could do both in an afternoon with time left over. Those rears though, I cringe when I look at them...

Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

I am about to send my rear trailing arms to be powdercoated and I would like to pull the bearings and install new ones before I put the RTAs on the car. I searched and found a few threads but no one really detailed the process, does anyone have any experience or comments about replacing these bearin...

Interesting, I would have thought those would be one of the NLA items by now. I will have to order some then, ECStuning and Realoem are still showing the euro French inserts as available. Realoem says $33 and ECS says $45. I also just check Maximillian and they are available there as well. $53 for F...

Euro Headlights

Does anyone, know if the euro headlights are still availble? One of my euro lenses has a rock hole in it :( I see in real OEM that the "inserts" are still available and the price doesn't seem too bad, especially the "french" style ($35 an insert??). What is all included in the in...

My fuel pressure was low on my e12 and my e12 based e24 because the thick cloth braided hose from the tank to the pump needed to be replaced(my e12 didn't come with an in tank pump). It was cracked and partially collapsed.

My post was to say that it's not easy. The link that I referenced says that mounts and exhaust manifolds headers need to be custom fabbed. That's not a job for a regular mechanic. That's customs/race shop stuff. Wiring wouldn't be that bad IMO, not a whole lot on an e12.
