Good picture, Mike.
I feel it should be mentioned, just to clarify, that the top picture is Pertronix & the lower one is standard ignition with points.

Ron is correct. Except, don't stop there. Any time you buy another car, you/we
should ALWAYS change EVERY hose and belt along with changing ALL the fluids,
including the tranny, diff, motor, brake fluid and anti-freeze.
This tells you just how old everything is.

I just located a brake booster from autopartswarehouse.com! With instructions & installation parts for $169 rebuilt by A1 Cardone? I think there's a guarantee too! Bob said that's cheap? He has his business parts suppliers but, they, I guess didn't have it. I ran into that way back before I intr...

New or Very Good Brake Bomb?

I sold my 'autotragic' '80 E12 to my mechanic Bob. He's now looking for a brake bomb.
Does anyone know where I can find one? This would be a feather in my cap.
It doesn't have to be brand new but,,,maybe.
It's not my money!

It would help immensely if you say which car you want to install the engine in?
I'm guessing in the '81 528i, but it's just a guess!

Hello brother funfunfer! This is what I was talking about. It's from 'DWCAINS' in Florida, on pg 7 of the 'search'. I got stubborn 'cause I know it's there! What's odd is even though I was specifically asking for head light cleaning, all sorts of topics came up!! Maybe a moderator can help with that...

These darn keyboards mounted on wheels tend to move so easily!

My mechanic has just replaced the master cylinder.
I hope he dumped the fluid out of the brake bomb!
