Discs are available
My mistake ...Bav Auto does carry the discs. Anyone know if the Cardone calipers will fit the solid rotors on my 3/76 530i? Autozone wont ship to Canada and I dont think Autopartsway carries what I'm after?

Brake Calipers and Rotors Further Problem
My 530i has the brake rotors with the little Allen key that separates the disc from the hub. One hub is badly scored and I'd like to replace it but apparently this type of hub is no longer available. If I switch to the disc that is attached to the hub then I believe I have to order different caliper...

76 530i Front Brake Caliper Rebuild Kit???
Are caliper rebuild kits available at all or do I have to fork out $400 each for new ones? Went to change the pads and have one stuck piston that I had to compress with all my might and still couldnt get it all the way in order to get the pad in. Doubt if it would release at this point. Hope rebuild...

Fuel Gauge Issues with our cars? 76 530i
Always suspected my gas gauge's accuracy. Actually ran out of gas once and it was reading just below a 1/4. Today I tapped the gauge cluster glass and be d**med if the needle didnt drop considerably! What's up with that and any known fixes?

Advancing ignition timing....
I'm about to change the points ,rotor condensor etc on my 76 530i(Thermal reactors removed) Seems to me I read on this forum something about advancing the timing "a pencil mark width"on the distributor to get a bit better performance. Can anyone elaborate on this?
