It is something I'm considering. I just bought another M30 head that comes with the banjo bolts...but I'll likely purchase the new bolts come rebuild time. This is only intended as a temporary fix until the snow starts falling.

Joe, This looks to be a "technical update" (TU) to the oil pump design. Clearly, your engine must work fine, so I wonder if the exploded diagram simply shows the pre/post TU by design? It's a head-scratcher to me. Regardless, I'll be doing a complete top and bottom rebuild of my 76 M30B30 ...

I'm asking because I'm thinking of deleting the pulley fan in favor of an electric version, in addition with an E28 radiator.
