Check and lube all throttle mechanical linkages, look for play in pivots on throttle body. Is your cold idle mechanism in good shape, done the refrigerator test? test. Dipstick seal good? Clean throttle body per faq?

What was the wear pattern like on the pads? I had a a blown seal on a front piston. The car pulled to the other side and the pad with the offending piston was thicker/less worn than the pad on the opposite side of the rotor.

If the hole in the bushing is 23 and your bar is smaller it should be an easy/ slightly sloppy fit. Sounds like the problem is the bracket or your bar is bigger than 23. I used the crescent wrench method, with a precision metric crescent wrench of course, not a cheap sloppy one
