Just get the correct diameter black PCV pipe and install a couple of inches of it to the ECU side. A redneck fix maybe but probably wouldn't be noticeable. Why? There is an oem part that is meant for this application. The e24 that ended with the b35 engine is the only chassis that still used the ea...

Re: Front coil spring removal....
Thanks for the info. I'll try an impact gun. I believe the shocks are Koni's now that you mention it. I thought that hole on top of the rod must be for an Allen key but it appears to be rounded out! If I can get a key...or maybe there was a tool?... in there do you know the method of adjustment for...

If you used locktite on the nut, you won't be able to loosen it without an impact gun. You need the shock and torque of the impact to break that bond. You will also need to get a large vice grip pliers on the top most part of the piston to hold it while you do this. It will be fine, since the piston...

I have heard of Supersprint, Ireland Eng. and Stahl, but I was wondering if someone had any input or experience on design, fit, performance and such. Decide what style you want. Shorties are easy to install, but aren't as efficient as long tube headers. It's really hard to find short tube headers a...

Getting the subframe bushings out is easy. Remove the tension rods, then use the rods as pry bars by inserting them through the front of the bushing, then leverage it out by pushing the rod to one side and it should pop right out. You really need a press and some silicone spray to get the new ones i...

The upper radiator hose outlet is different, so you would need the e28 hose, and the trans cooler lines are different, so you'd have to conjure something to make that work, most likely new hoses will need to be fabricated. It might make more sense to rebuild the original radiator, but yes it will wo...

Honestly the only thing that would be an permanent fix/update would either be a Motronic 1.3 conversion or a PNP Megasquirt. Both require replacing the entire engine harness. 1.3 is basic, MS requires learning about the system and tuning, which is more of a commitment unless you know someone or wil...

Before you buy anything, try to take one of the clips off of the door skin. It's not as easy as you may think. It's actually a pain because the center locking dowels can't be pushed in because the inner door impact frame is directly behind the clips and prevents this. With the moulding off, get some...

I used the US blinker. I removed the pigtail and black plastic socket backing from the US side light, trimmed it until it was a tight fit in the socket, then used 3M weather stripping adhesive to encase it- It both waterproofs it glues it. You have to do some test fitting to set the depth of the bac...
