Pully or damper noise?

Hello, Having lots of squeeking, scraping noise, for lack of better description coming from crank shaft pully or vibration damper I think, well after engine warms up, not cold. Localized it by spraying lubricant between pully and damper. Goes away for a while but comes back. Wondering also if relate...

Hood Cable Snapped

Hello, Went to release the hood yesterday and it just snapped at the release handle. At first I panicked but realized there was still cable showing and could still open it with vise grips. Wondering if someone might have a fix or if any advise on replacing the whole cable aka Bowden cable as referre...

Thanks for the feedback Mike!

Will probably go with the mix and match German brands then.

Distributor Cap and Rotor

Wondering if anyone has bought the WVE brand cap and rotor from Rock Auto(link below) and if perform well? Bosch is 3 x the price these days and I cannot locate matching Bremi or Beru brands, or is it ok to buy Bremi cap and Beru rotor(?) . https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=930963&cc=1...

Re: Brake Servo Unit...Booster

My 2 cents...when you have the booster out it's a great time to inspect the steering u-joint and replace if needed, along with any firewall pedal bushings.

Re: ATF Leaking Bad

Haven't had work done yet as I'm not sure who to give the work here in Orlando to, but wanted to get ideas of what else would/should be replaced along the way even though the trans works just fine.

Any suggestions? Ideas welcome.

Re: ATF Leaking Bad

Thanks Mike! I have done as you suggested and have had to put almost a whole quart of ATF back in the transmission so apparently not the steering components.

ATF Leaking Bad

Hey Guys, Any ideas what this ATF leak fix might be? I cleaned up the housing where it meets the engine and this was the obvious (pics ATF Leak.jpg ) location. Did some digging in the repair manual and only suggestion I found was the "shaft seal"? No idea where that might be or how to repl...

Re: Hood light install

Hey nice tip Lock, you motivated me and I did the same this afternoon with extra parts I had lying around. A little tricky running the wire but not too bad. Only set back I had is the screw hole fittings didn't line up with my light fixture but one screw seems to be holding it in pretty well. Thanks...
