I bought an Optima red top in February 2008 for my 528i. I never thought to stick a charger on it, and nobody suggested I do. I drive my car even less, so the Optima was appealing based on it's advertising that it can go 12 months on a full charge and still start the car. In January, my battery died...

I did buy brand new OEM brackets (they were brand new, but so old they had hand written part numbers on them under the new stickers). They had tabs that stuck off the side that blocked passage to the frame rails, so we had to grind them off. Interestingly enough, I have a box full of OEM nuts/bolts ...

I just missed this comment tonight. I finished the rear bumper in a decent amount of time Sunday, just a few hours. We started at 8 pm this evening and worked until 3:15 am getting it done. I also heard they bolt right up... wish it was that easy. I drilled my own holes and bolted the brackets up. I...

I have never seen anything but the factory blue manuals, Haynes and similar. Without all of the extra E28 - drivertrain sensors, pulse transmittors, barometric pressure thingamajiggiys etc... etc.. except for LJET E12 wiring is old school. Is'nt that why we have E12's ? I have a factory ETM for the...

C-Pillar Vent Removal
Before I start off on the path of destruction, I thought I would double check on the appropriate removal procedure for the little vents. I assume they just pop in and out with a little assistance, but with my luck they'd be bolted in.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Euro Bumper Installation
I have been asking around for a few months but have yet to get any feedback on doing the Euro bumper swap. I have my brand new bumpers all ready to go, my valance and airdam will be back from the paint guys this weekend. I'm looking for any info on the swap. I want to go in prepared, and NOT make a ...

It's hard to tell from the size of the picture, but I bet they are sealed beam US headlights. They're likely the same size and it's hard to tell because of the angle/picture. That'd make them the same as what you already have (just out of an older car). Slap some Cibies or something similar in your ...
