Get the real deal...

First I went with KYB all 4. Two years latter the front KYB had to be replaced (leaking oil) and now all 4 are Bilstein HD and it's a new car boy that's what I call handling! They are solid yet they keep the ride soft. Don't forget the E12 is a heavy car specially in the front. Ordered mine from Bav...

Pistons

Great job you are doing, should consider replacing the pistons as they are rusted and will fail.
I did the same and ended up buying the reman by Cardone.

Change them all!

It's better to have them even so change them all together or in the mean time do one yourself.

Change from Sport KGB to Touring Bilstein?

I have 4 new KGB Sports on al 4 but I am considering change for the two front to the Touring Bilstein and leaving the Sports KYB in the rear.
Is this a good set up?
With the 4 KGY runs fine but think the car would ride much better with two Touring Bilstein in the front.

Any suggestion??

Spongy stick shift

What parts would need to be changed in order to bring the stick shift to that new car feeling?
In other words, eliminate the time given spongy feelin?

Calipers, to rebuild or buy new or Remanufactured?

I remanufactured the front calipers as I wanted to be a true restarateur... Braking is outstanding! But At very very high speeds a very light touch of the brakes produces an insignificat tilt to the right that is self corrected after more breaking BUT when a tight situation arises this could be comp...
