You should be able to bore it from 86 to 89, I've heard of it being done That is good news. As far as putting in a 86MM crankshaft, it's maybe. I don't think I can make a 3.5 out of a 2.8? The leap from 86mm to 92mm is not possible, I think..?
So I would settle for 3.2, if possible.
