If your car is moving on the hwy, you dont really need a fan anyway. Race cars dont use them because they have plenty of air moving. When you flush your system, pull the plug below the #6 piston on the exhaust side. You will see it better if you remove the front left wheel. It will drain the block. ...

With my new M106 engine, I went with the 735 fan blade and a new clutch. Another alternative I learned was to scrap the clutch/fan combo and install an electric fan from an XJ6. They run about $400. I would go with the seven series fan first. It has more fan blades and is the same size in diameter. ...

I've been thinking about this for a while because it keeps coming up. If you used the tranny out of a 1982 and new E28, how could you use the newer electronic cluster? Most everything on a 1980-81 will be the same size as E28 stuff. To use the E28 cluster, you would have to use the E28 dash. Then to...

I'll get a photo posted but it looks just like the 2.8 I broke last year. I'll get the new one online. It's all about the internals. It's basically a B34 motor with a few factory extras to help out the cooling and lubrication. The biggest difference besides the 2.8 to 3.5 conversion is the new acces...

Running with high flow cat and muffler, 3 inch pipe all the way down from the 2.8L w/T4 turbo. Not in the Boyzzzzzzz range of sound for me. I told TCD I didn't want the neighborhood to know when I came home. It's louder but very acceptable. Now if I open it up on the track, you better give me the po...

Glad you figured it out. Next step for you is to convert to MegSquirt. I'll be back on the road in about two months with my m106 TCD turbo.

If you want I have a whole log and runners with throttle body in a box ready to ship. Greg, I am sorry but if you want these things back, it's time to clear up our business. I still have your cluster that is fixed and ready to go. The runners will go to whoever wants them at this point. $100 firm. p...

You can put any head on a M30/b12 block. If you are using a stock head gasket, the dealership has the correct listing. EVERYONE else has it wrong. It's not that they want to, they all have it listed wrong and don't deal with the old stuff enough to really know. Ideally, if you were to put a new or d...
