Strut Cartridge Removal
The caps that hold the front strut cartridge in place inside the strut tube on my car need to be tightened. Does anyone know what the tool is called that allows me to tighten these? Or where I may be able to buy one?

If you are using Bilsteins, then you can use the tool that Bilstein sells ($5).socalfiver wrote:The caps that hold the front strut cartridge in place inside the strut tube on my car need to be tightened. 16" channellocks or 14" pipe wrench. Either works. Use a cheater on the pipe wrench if you need to loosen them and they're too tight.

Re: Strut Cartridge Removal
I will second the big pipe wrench and cheater pipe. That's how I have done struts for years.
