Timing
So I wanted to adjust the timing on my 1980 633CSi (M90 Engine) and found that the heater hoses are covering the little window. Anyone have a trick on how to do this?

Yeah, or just time it by ear where it runs right. Not idles right, runs right. To me the timing procedure is start advancing it to where it just starts to idle well, then back off just a hair. Not max idle speed, but where it starts to run well. And drive it. You may or may not need additional advance at your altitude, seems like 1 degree per thou is the old rule of thumb.
