Engine wiring harness firewall grommet

Post by Blaise »

Does anyone know where I could find replacement grommets for the two firewall passthroughs on the engine wiring harness to ECU?

These are the two huge ones and lead from the engine bay to the glove box.

It is not listed individually on realoem, as it came with the harness.

Try going to restoration specialties and looking under grommets in their catalog. You may have to improvise from what they have.

That was worth a try, but this is what they told me when I showed them what I needed.

If your search for something close, workable proves difficult, I'm confident there's a black rubber glue and the SEM ( brand, flex fillers) website to save the grommet carcass you have.

An exercise in patience, and spendy maybe, but very doable.
