E28 windscreen > E12

Hi all,
Just hoping to get a definitive answer as I can source a new E28 windscreen locally, but the e12 screen woul have to come from o/s.

The tech archives say yes, but was hoping someone could confirm.

I think I've got an E28 windshield in my E12. Realoem suggests early E12's, as in 3-76 and earlier use a different windshield, but the later ones all interchange.

Yes they fit. I have a e28 windshield in my 75 530i and it fits perfect! I also used e28 m5 black lock strips.
