Fuel sender

Post by Henrik »

Hello!
Does anybody know the length of the fuel sender 16121153507?
It´s the one with the suction and return in the same tube, used in e12/e28 and e24. I´m asking because I will try to use it in my old e9 fuel tank which is not prepared for fuel injection. The tank is 255 mm deep and the sender must match.

I had mine in my hands a couple of days ago :(
Now it is installed, don't really feel like taking it out again, but I will if needed. It's a pre-77 car with part number 16121113505 I suppose. Not sure if also tank size matters, mine has 70 liters.

Very interesting, there are perhaps several transmitters that can be used?
My tank is 255 mm deep so it must fit to that depth.

The one in my '75 530i was the same as one I had from an Alpina B7 Turbo, which I think started out as a 528. I have one out of the tank and I can measure it when I get home.
