Carbs are setup & synchronized, no more black smoke, cold start functional and brilliant smooth idle.

Not a bad option for simplicity. Not sure about performance given the difference in runner lengths across six cylinders?

I bought a euro market 525 with a 4 barrel intake manifold. The E3 guys use these with a Holley 390 cfm conversion thinking this is they way I will go. Simple.

Hi Jeff
I have, on my '73 2002, the Weber 32/36 cfm progressive linkage carb.
Set it properly once & all I needed to do for years was blow out the jet & change the filter,,,,period.
I just had it re-built along with the motor, after years & years of sitting w/o running & everything is sweet. Never had a Holly though.
Just an accolade for Weber,,,,Greg

Hi everyone. i've done a couple of thousand km's on the webers now & they are worlds better than the old Zeniths.
I'm averaging about 15L/100km (18mpg) around town, does this sound reasonable? I would like to get this figure down to 20MPG, not sure if this is unrealistic.
My only gripe is with the auto-chokes, as soon as you touch the throttle, they jump off the cold-start cam and the car won't idle. Thinking about converting to a manual choke so I can leave it on for a little longer in the cold mornings here.

Maybe don't hit the throttle till it's warm? Might be cheaper.
