Anybody run with their rear Bilsteins with their lower spring collar on the lowest "notch" or "groove" on the shock body? I just wanted to see if I could get my 528i less "tail high"...

That's where mine are set, using Eibach springs. Mechanically that setting appears to be correct. The shock travel, spring extended length work together so the spring stays in place.

Not so with HD's and Eibachs. Maximum shock drop lets the spring be right on the edge of floppy.

Depends on your visual preference. Sports on the lowest perch put the rear of the car very close to level, front to back. If you like a slight rake, use the second lowest.
