This won't mean much to those with left hand drive cars, but for those with right hand drive, it might be interesting.
Dad had the brake boosters rebuilt for the 520i and when he did, he had them relocated away from the engine to give more space. I'd previously relocated the battery and washer bottle, so there were two ideal spots up front. Looks a little odd, but it makes it a load easier to work on the engine, especially the starter, power steering and fuel systems.
