Hi folks,
Well, I bought an M20 with dual Zenith carbs for a song yesterday, to replace the M10 in my '73 520. I was considering an M30, but I like the idea of an engine that matches the period of my car.
Can anyone help me figure out as much as I can about the engine? All I have are numbers and after furious googling and site searching I have come up empty-handed.
On the block, forward-right side is stamped: 1 252 446 0
On the block, center-right is stamped: 14B73
On the head, rear-left side is stamped: 12500199
On the head, center-left side is a "76" in a circle
Insight appreciated!
Cheers,
Craig

If it floats, flies, or giggles in bed, it's cheaper to rent than to own.
