Where can I buy the brake reservoir?

I'm still working on the formerly dormant 633. The brake reservoir is plastic with 3 lines coming from it, two in the direction of the engine, and one to the rear. The one to the rear has been broken, glued, and broken again. The reservoir looks like this:

Any suggestions will be much appreciated, new or used is okay by me.

Thanks,

Ebay for used, or sometimes this or the Sixer boards have parts in classifieds.

Maybe rockauto.com, autopartswarehouse.com, ...

dealer if muny no concern.

Thanks T.Hanson, I so wish it were that easy. My usual parts sources had nothing for me.

The car I am working on is a 78 model 633 that was made in 12/78, an E12 based 6er. BMW lists reservoir as part number 34321120386 and no longer available (that number fitting 633s from 9/78 to 9/82).

One source says this has been superceeded by number 34321151729, but that #fits a later car and mounts to the master cylinder instead of the inner fender.

The one for an E12 530 and 630 is part number 34321114907. It looks like BMW used the same line drawing for this as for the part number I need, but I'm reluctant to buy a new part because the line drawing looks okay.

Ebay and the E24 forums were the first place I looked, but most cars/parts there are later E28 based cars. I'm still looking there, but not finding much. I figured folks here are the more likely to have encountered this, and this site has already been a huge help with this car.

I bought a perfect used one from double 02 salvage. Try them.

Thanks Blaise, I will do just that.

After much surfing and looking at pictures, I've convinced myself that this car has the remote reservoir from the earlier 530/630. What BMW lists for the 633 seems to be what is shown in Eddie's engine pic in the link below, and it obviously pushes into the ports on the master cylinder:

The 530 one is still available new, but I'll try and source a used one first.

New (to me) '81 633 has a different reservoir from '79 528, 635, '81 528. Just annoying for fooling around, being able to swap parts easily.

Unless you are restoring to original, I've not looked hard at the differences in how the reservoir connects to the system or mounts to the chassis.

Maybe it's not a big deal.

Agreed, that is the one. Double 02 salvage is sending me a used one.

The car I am working on is a CA car and the combo relay and some emissions related valves occupy the space above the master cylinder. I'm guessing the extra california emissions bits might have something to do with why this car has the remote reservoir of the earlier models.
