5 speed conversion
So-o, I've been converting a beautiful Fijord Blue '79 528i to a five speed for weeks now. (From automatic.) Did the same thing to a $500 533 in '12. The last thing to do, besides the back up light switch over, is to make the car start. I've searched related posts here. Concerning the starter relay, do I just solder the wires together? I've got the factory manual and all the schematics in front of me. The answer doesn't leap off the page. Thanks for any suggestions and your time.
