Motronic 1.0 installation

I'm having trouble installing a Motronic 1.0 engine from a 1984 735i using a wiring harness from a manual 1985 535i. I have spark, but now no fuel. Has anyone mapped out the wiring for installing Motronic 1.0 into a US-spec 528i? I've read the FAQs but still have questions on how to connect the two wiring harnesses. Anyone successfully married the two systems?
