The duck: washers, etc.

Post by T.Hanson »

I know the location of the bolt that uses the O ring ( Haynes photo ) but the parts drawing is confusing. For fun, what came off had a thicker steel washer where the O ring, red fiber washer should have been and one wave washer.

Am I correct with 12110002735 O ring, against duck plate, then wave washer, bolt. All other bolts use wave washers. Use gasket goo on plate side of gasket.

Thank you,

Correct. I also use blue locktite to make sure nothing loosens up especially given how difficult it is to get back there with the engine in place.
