Haynes has a photo of a fuel pump push rod, to be removed from the head on disassembly. One of those mushy glop dark close up photos too close to orientate to any other recognizable parts.
Who's nuts, Haynes or me, that can't find anything like it on either side of my M30 head.
Fuel pump rod ?
It's there on every stock carburated engine with a mechanical fuel pump. And since all US spec E12's were injected, it's probably not there. Seems like you do have a euro, but still, if it's injected, it won't have it. I have seen (and used) carb heads in FI cars where the pushrod hole was blocked off, but still, no pushrod.
Just in case you do, it's about half way back on the intake side, about halfway down.
