Differential ratio/gear replacement

Hi everyone,
I purchased a 3.07LSD from a 635 to go into my E12. Unfortunately i don't have a dogleg box to mate to this diff (this was the plan)..
I have a perfect condition set of gears from a 3.64 diff sitting in my garage. Can anyone shed any light on how difficult it would be to transfer the gears so I have a diff ratio better suited to an overdrive box?
