Headers?

I have been thinking about installing performance exhaust and was wondering about headers. Do we have more than one choice in manufacturer's? Would porting the manifolds be the same as?

I'm no expert, but I think properly made, tuned length extractors/headers would be far better than even a modified manifold. I had a set custom made in stainless and they were about $500. Made a nice little difference, especially up high.

Keep us posted if you decide to go through with the headers. I've had a set in the shed for a few years (manufacturer unknown, maybe Stahl) and I haven't brought myself to actually get them putting on the car.

As far as brands, I think there are a few out there that will work for these cars.
