Temperature guage to low on M10 518

Post by dapalmovic »

My tempreature gauge is showing a bit to low temperature. The cooling system is bleeded and the car has new radiator and thermostate. Is it the clock inside of car or?

Try grounding out the lead to the sensor to see what your gauge does. If it goes totally hot then you likely need a new sensor. Best diagnostic tool I have is a 10 foot Jumper with alligator clips. I can sit in the car and test things like the oil light, temp gauge, etc.

I had this issue on my M10 once, turned out that the head or water outlet was not grounded.
