Realoem has screwy part numbers ( support plate ?) for the braided power steering pump hose. Not to mention I'll bet the stuff is big $$$ per foot.
So, does it matter OEM exterior braided, or may I buy generic (what) at NAPA or other parts place ?
I know fuel line matters OEM for fit, pressure, safety demands. What other lines ? Vacuum from brake booster to manifold, power steering, coolant,...
Meaning not just hose, but some kind of interior reenforcement fabric visible in the hose.
Power steering pump hose
The braided low pressure hose is just hose, any reinforced hose will do, I've found the braided stuff pretty inexpensive actually, but any fuel/oil line will do. About the only pressure it's under is gravity, unlike the high pressure hose which is in the hundreds PSI rating.
