Valve cover vacuum tube

Center top of the valve cover is tube, for an L shaped, fat rubber vacuum hose that goes to the throttle body. No reference that I can find. Most of the time, because that stubby hose can't go anywhere and fits as snug as the vacuum tubing, I've not seen hose clamps.
